Two men, passionate about food, met and discovered that they share the same ideas on making authentic, healthy meals.

Howard Treppeda’s appetite for having his own restaurant started in 1996, while visiting the sleepy little town of Niwot. As his dream became a reality, he began pouring his heart and soul into a charming Italian Restaurant in the foot hills of the Rockies, affectionately called “Treppeda’s”. Over the years, the restaurant has become recognized by locals and non-locals alike, as a great place to “chill” with friends, or to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Howard also maintains a commitment of his own and uses locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, and relies on local farms for their produce and meat.

Chef Giuseppe Monaco grew up on the lush and beautiful island of Capri, which is located just off the coast of Naples, Italy. His love for the Culinary Arts began at the age of 13 , and today he continues to express his passion for sharing authentic dishes that are designed to be clean, simple, and always uniquely flavorful. As an enthusiastic supporter of local growers, Giuseppe enjoys hand picking vegetables and herbs to ensure perfection in every meal he creates.

Together, Howard and Giuseppe are reintroducing genuine Italian cuisine, and filling it with a distinctive and clean flavor. You will undoubtedly be swept away with their unique food …right from the first bite!
